Dubai Eye Radio - Paris' first interview since rowing the Pacific Ocean

On June 12th 2023 Paris Norriss with the Brothers N Oars team set off to row 4,800km across the Pacific Ocean. They set off from Monterey California with the destination of Kauai in Hawaii. Before they left, the head safety officer said "Be prepared for the hardest 24 hours in your life". He was right, but underestimated the time period as they fought against the wind and 40ft waves for 10 days before getting into more favourable conditions.

In this interview with Dubai Eye radio, Paris explains some of the challenges they had to overcome and some of the hairy moments. On July 20th they arrived in Kauai looking like different people, but what had changed on the inside may have been more than the outside.

The grit and resilience the team demonstrated through this challenge was unprecedented and had made for a thrilling talk.
