Paris Norriss talks with the "Off Script" show on Dubai Eye 103.8 about the challenge he's taking on to row across the Pacific Ocean. He answers why they are doing it, what them inspired and some of the technical difficulties for a 40 day row such as this. Rowing 4,800km unassisted from Monterey California to Kauai (Hawaii), the Brothers N Oars team will be the first set of rowers to attempt this route and the world record will be on the table to be set.

More people have gone to space than attempted to row across the Pacific Ocean and in fact they will be in such remote waters that for most of the time the closest people to us may be astronauts. They are ultimately doing this to raise funds and awareness to support conserving the Oceans and marine life. On their journey they will be documenting their encounters as they follow the route of 6 whale migrations, dolphin galore and many species of sharks. The fundraiser will go to The Blue Marine Foundation & The Invictus Games.

As a keynote speaker and TV host, Paris weaves these stories of his adventures into leadership lessons around grit and resilience.
